AC Drain - Coleman Mach

So we've been out 5 times this season in our used Coleman Bayside (2002) and I'm beginning to get my hands dirty, do maintenance, and perhaps mod the camper. (This is our first camper, first season camping - going well).

Does anyone know where the Mach Air Conditioner drains? Commercial refrigerators, for instance, have a hose from the drain so it can drain into a pan or even a floor drain. All I know is that my AC dumps its water onto my roof, then over a bed and down the side of the canvas.

I'd really like to install a small tube so I can direct the drain water... I just started thinking about this while driving home from the last trip, so I haven't witnessed the drainage on the roof in person.

Attached is a photo of a small white widget with hole. Two are visible pointing down from the unit, opposite each other towards the front. These look suspiciously like a drain.

Also, a follow up question - when opening up the cover, I saw this motor/shaft/fan mechanism and noticed the shaft is pretty rusty. Is this necessary to replace at this point?

The only drain that I have seen for a roof top AC unit, on a PU, was made out of a piece of 2 inch PVC.  Take a 3 or 4 foot of PVC.  Cut the PVC down the middle (not in half so that you have 2 pieces) about half way.  You will have the entire piece of PVC with a cut half way down it and the other end of the pipe is untouched.  Next make a short cut through the side of the PVC so that you will remove 1/4 of the PVC pipe.  So you will have a piece of pipe that one half is normal and the rest of it is only half of the tube.  Put the cut out section of the pipe between the roof and the tenting on the bunkend, so that the tenting wedges the PVC in place.  Have the camper slightly off level so that the run off heads toward the corner of the roof with the PVC on it.  Now it will not run all over your tenting.  I hope you understand what I typed.  It is simpler to make than it is to type.:)

What I use when motivated (and don't forget to put on) is a pvc tube with about a 6 inch section cut into a half pipe down the middle.  This is long enough to drain over the side of the roof from the drain holes on the A/C.  Aim it away from the canvas and doors, and you should be good to go.  I usually feel somewhat lazy, so I tend to use two of them and let them drain from both sides.

Sounds like a plan - thanks

The easy solution is just a length of cotton rope between A/C and the ground, attach it to the A/C flat on the roof, the water will follow it.
