I am interested in changing the interior upholstery. Just to give it a new look. Does anyone have information on who may have replacements. The more creative the better. Thanks.

Hi, my hubby and I just refurbished a 1976 Coleman Brandywine. Originally it had ugly brown and orange plaid seats/beds.  It was the 70's remember... We went to Wal-Mart, picked out some fabric and did it ourselves.  If you have good foam, you could easily take off the old fabric and replace it.  Measure and ask the person at the fabric store to help you figure out how much you need to buy.  We had to replace the entire seats for ours.  Just some plywood, 4 inch foam (purchased from the local mattress maker), and the fabric.  WE also used some tacky spray adhesive to stick the foam to the plywood and a staple gun.  If you have ever watched trading spaces or other home redo shows on tv, you can figure it out. Otherwise, just go on the web and see how it's done.  You pull the fabric tight in the center of the sides, and staple it to the bottom of the plywood.  go on from there down the length of the seat. Then do the short ends.  At the corners, you can either do a "hospital corner" like making a bed or you can gather/pleat it. Staple well.  AS for the beds, we did not sew those ourselves.  They were also new foam and fabric. Our friends who made our new canvas sewed cases for the bed foam and even put a vinyl like fabric on the bottom to avoid snags/tears.  I am not a good sewer - or I would have tried it myself.

Good luck.  Check out my webshots page for a few pics.
