Great general location, but I imagine it gets a lot of freeway noise.  Last month I sent an email to their events coordinator never heard back.

We may do a drive-by on the way home from Flying Flags.  At Thanksgiving I took San Marcos Pass both ways and missed it.

NOT !!!! like you say its big $$$ there. I only go to hookup sites because of the group. I am self contained (PU)  ;)  so I like the more private & rustic sites, not to mention cheaper  :p

I guess all of us will be driving by next month  :yikes:

I wonder if they would let me park my cargo trailer at a tent site and sleep in it?  We may try that after Buellton next month.

It sure looks beautiful!  Or is it just the lighting in the pics?!  :)

hey it may be worth the call to see about group rates. Campland winter rates are $65+ they give about a 50% discount

$85.00 for a parking space next to the fwy? They're kidding, right? :screwy: I don't care if they do have ocean views...

Wow!

One of my favorite campgrounds out here, The Peninsula (at Rollins Lake) is $25 for a dry campsite.  I feel that is a bit steep - but (overall) worth it because it is secluded and quiet with great views.  We did a great 7-rig mini-rally there this past June.

$85 to park on the side of a highway?  Yeah... I don't think so!

Lori,

We can both judge for ourselves in a few weeks.  I plan to drive in and see what it's like.  I'm thinking of stopping off sometime this summer to take in one of their Saturday concerts.  I won't pay $85 though.  If I can't park my trailer in a tent spot I would park my tent in a tent spot instead!

Prices and amenities at Costanoa up north of Santa Cruz both look better.  That might be part of a late summer trip.
