I have a older palamino i think its missing a spring which asist in opening and closing can any one tell me where i can get a replacement

Welcome to PUT!  There are some salvage places, but you might need to talk to a dealer or contact Palomino for the part.  They have a nice support system.  A friend of mine needed some parts and was able to get them directly from Palomino.  Good luck with the spring.

I checked on those arms a year or two ago, and they were about $75 each, for our 1986 Palomino Colt.
