Russian River

We enjoy fishing on the Russian River, and when we go there, I call and get reservations for the Kenai River Campground.  They have a website located at http://www.kenairiversidecampground.com/ Water, electric and a sewer dumping station are available.  We were sitting around the campfire having a few beers and two Moose decided to walk through the campgrounds.  We caught some nice sized trout from the Kenai River which borders the campground.  Showers and bathrooms are located in the office.  They have some awesome homemade Russian River flies that are worth the 2 bucks a piece.
We took my brother and his family with us on this trip, and there is a little general store located in Cooper Landing that will rent to you the locals price for a DVD player and 3 DVD's, 11 bucks a night if you tell them that you are staying at this campground.  In Coopers Landing there was also an awesome coffee shop, by far the best coffee.  It's a mandatory stop for us.  There is a Kettle Corn "trailer" with great Kettle Corn, and I usually don't like it, but this is great here.
