Hey Kd!

I also have a Coleman (1976) that has the life out of level! I ahve had it like this for a couple of years (it was like this when we purchased it) and camp with it as is for now.

I called the local RV dealership and was told that they couls grease the whiffle tree for me and make adjustments on the cables at that time for about $150.00.

O have decided that I like the way it helps shed the rainfall off the top faster, lol!

As far as you not having a manuel, I was in the same boat! I e-mailed Coleman and they inturn mailed me a couple of the original owners manuel, as well as a lift manuel for my specifc model!

I am not able to handle the adjustments physically, so...I have a choice of paying the dealer or leaving it as is, lol!

Guess which one I chose, lol!

Camp more and have some fun...

We have a 95 Premier manual that shows a diagram of an adjustable pulley underneath at the middle of the back of the trailer.  Maybe yours is the same.  The instructions say:  "To raise front of roof, adjust pulley forward.  To raise rear, adjust pulley back."  It doesn't say anything about whether this should be done with the roof up or down.    I have to admit that since I am a "mere woman",  have never even looked under the trailer.  But I know that my husband has adusted the thing before.  We have found the people at Forest River to be very helpful over the years.  The last phone number we have for them is 574-642-2640.  Good luck.

on our Coleman, there are four pulleys under each corner of the trailer.  there are 3 or 4 holes you can put the pulleys in.  you simply remove the cotter pin and move the pulley forward or backwards depending on whether you need to raise or lower the corner.  this is all done with the roof down.  this will only adjust the height a couple of inches in each direction.  if you are more than tha out of level then you will have to adjust the wiffle tree and i do not recommend that without a manual.  if you screw that up, your roof is not going up or down.  good luck
