Greetings - just became the owner of a camper and this is the first time on the forum - want to jump in and say hello.  Bought an '04 Fleetwood Bayside to pull with my Toyota Sienna van.  Live in the northern Capital District of New York - Saratoga Springs area.  Working on getting rid of about 2 feet of snow and ice right now, but excited about this summer.  Other than a little tenting I don't know much and have never towed anything.  Planning on learning a lot the next 6 months and hope you all can help - look forward to meeting you.

Welcome!!! You're in for the time of your life. Take it slow ask lots of questions and keep a journal handy on your camping trips so you can make notes about what to bring next time, or things you learned along the way. Remember camping takes practice and the more you go the better you'll get.

Once again welcome.

Good advice - we had talked about the merits of a journal for a multitude of reasons.
Should I assume from your name that you have camped a lot down south?

Congratulations on the new camper and welcome to PUT!  If you have questions ask away.  On thing I would recommend is to keep a pad and pencil/pen on hand when camping.  That way you can write down anything that you forgot to pack.:)
