Hi all
My 98 Jayco has a broken lift cable, anyone know where a replacement, or splicing material can be found?

Thank you,
Tony

Tony, I have kinda described what I saw in the way of a cable repair on mine here: http://www.arveeclub.com/showpost.php?p=152506&postcount=6

Thank you for the response.
Do you have pictures of the splice? I am not real clear on how the cable is taken up when the top is cranked down. I found some 1/8 Wire rope (cable) and some clamps that look like U bolts, and I hope this type of repair won't bind.

Thank you,
Tony

Well it turns out that I could not straighten the push rod tube. So I need to get a replacment push rod system for the left rear. Anyone know of a good place to find this?

Thank you,
Tony

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for the link to the manual! :-)

I found a dealer in the next town who carries the lift arms for $45 and the cables can be ordered and run $27 - $89.
