hi all i have found a 2002 coleman fairview in showroom condition. has literally been slept in 2 half nights. it is that clean. anyway is $5000 a good price?

I'm not sure what your floor plan is but, I purchased a 2002 Coleman Cottonwood (10' box with refridg and awning) in the spring of 05 for $3900. It was also in exceptional condition. I think that may have been and unusual deal because when I see asking prices for used pop-ups, I'm in shock. From what I've seen in my area used units are not even on the lot for a week before they are sold. Good luck in your hunt.

this is the 12 foot box with 2 foot storage in the front. portapottie shower fridge awning the works. they dont last around here either. this guy is holding it for me till the first of the week thanks brad

Not knowing where you live, it's hard to evaluate the price accurately.  Camper prices vary a lot, depending on location.  However, I would say that $5,000 is at least a fair price, and possibly a very good price, based on what you say about the condition and options on it.

(BTW, NADA lists a "Fairlake" for 2002, but not a "Fairview."  They list "Fairview" for 2001.  Don't know if that's a mistake or not).

However, before jumping in a buying, there's a few things you'll want to consider.  First and foremost, what is your tow vehicle?  Is it capable of towing this camper?  Find out your tow rating and how much this camper weighs before you do anything.

Also, consider the floor plan.  How many in your family?  Is it big enough?  Too big?  

Have you seen the camper in person, or are you just going by e-mailed pictures?

You are correct it is fairlake not fairview. tow vehicle is 2003 chevy trailblazer i have saw it in person on a couple visits to look at it.  me the wife and 3 girls under 8 that we are looking at the bigger popups. i believe it will plenty of room as most of the time we camp with the rest of the family and 8 year daughter normaly stays with grandma in their camper. the camper i thinks weighs 2300 pounds tow vehicle says 4400 pounds without wdh.  i am soppost to pick it up on tuesday or wensday.

A pop up like that where I live in Idaho would go for probably around $7500.00 seriously if you could even find one. Enjoy it.
