Good point.......it would be better to wire it to the back of an outlet.

And make sure the plug can not fall or be pulled out of the inverter.


The best way to wire this is with a set of relays that would cut off the shore power connections when the camper was on battery only, and cut out the inverter when shore power was connected.  And as Mike4947 points out, it would keep the inverter from trying to run the converter...
