We got our camper at the end of last year so we only got out 2wice.The first time went fine, my husband slept on one bunk with one child and I slept on the other with our other child. Second trip the kids fell asleep on one bunk, so my husband and I got on the other. My husband is just 160lbs and I about 185lbs. We had no trouble during the night but when we were closing it up we noticed the track the beds slids on is a little bent. My husband says he can fix it no problem but how can I stop this from happening. If we bring extra like 2x4's you never know how soft or hard the ground is going to be and they may end up unuseful. Personally I think I should drop a few lbs to fix the problem but what's your idea.

If you have all the factory braces you don't have enough weight to hurt the bunks. (If YOU think you need a reason to drop the weight may work) Sometime before we got ours sombody pulled the bunk out without the braces, the track is bent a little, maybe that happened to yours?
