Check out the NNC site for the information as it becomes available.  All we have confirmed as of now are the dates.  As usual, you are all welcome to join us.   The dates are June 28 through July 6th.  I thought that since the 4th was on a Wednesday that we would make extended stays available for those who wanted to stay longer with us.  Information is sketchy now because there is a new Super Host Coordinator at the park, but she will be sending me the package of information for the campsites, so keep checking the NNC site if you are interested in joining us.

thanks for posting here too. I did see your post in the NNC but my camping life is now changing as my son is starting HS this fall. He has summer school, band camp.etc basically they don't have a summer break.  :banghead: It's crazy
I DO want to go back up there again...

actually WE have no summer this year  :% ..we have one week after school gets out. then it's summer school and when that gets out Band camp starts , then I think we have a week off then school starts...

I'm hoping next year, He's doing summer school to make his transition into HS a little easier.(going from a school of 200 to a school of 2200) Last night my sister mentioned about his taking summer classes elswhere next year...that's when I went...."no no no no yes his education is my top priority but now you're REALLY messing with my camping...something's gotta give...and it ain't camping"  :J  and if that were true we'd be camping this summer  :rolleyes:

Making it after school gets out is the best way to get us southerners to make it up there

I noticed it's a whole week, could someone less time than that lets say Thurs to Monday?

Kim, since we are NACO/Thousand Trails members we are "hosting" the rest of the group to be able to camp in this resort under our membership.  Check out the thread in NNC, my husband, Sal, has added links and a bit more information.  I'm hoping it will only cost $32 per night like it usually does, but as I said before, I won't know for sure until I get the package from the park.

Dee, yes you can stay any amount of days you want.  I made it available for the group to stay longer if they choose to because the 4th of July is on a Wednesday this year and they might want to stay a few days more.  Anyone can stay as long as we do, which is until Friday, July 6th.

Last year, SCC stayed in the non-member side of Thousand Trails.  It was ok but the drive into the Valley took awhile.  We perfer to stay within the park (valley) so we're able to see more sites.  If we weren't going to Yosemite in Aug, we may have taken you up on this trip.

Joan and Sal, you are wonderful to host this rally each year. It was our very first experience camping at Yosemite and we fell in love with the park immediately!  
 
I started a new job about 6 months ago, and so unfortunately, I don't have enough leave time yet for longer vacations, so we're staying close to home this summer. But I've stickied this thread so hopefully others can share in the majesty of Yosemite.

I have posted in the NNC thread that we need people to sign up or I will have to cancel the 10 reservations I have made because the resort is wanting a $640 deposit.   The only ones signed up now are from a friend from work and her friends/relatives.
