I am new to the popup camping world. We are very anxious to get camping soon. I have purchased a 92 stardust from starcraft. When I looked at it the first time it was up and everthing was fine. Since I got it home I wanted to pop it up for the family to see. I notice I could not get the door to fit right. Once I looked, it seems the front of the roof is higher than the back. Anyone have info on adjustments, or know what I may be doing wrong?

take a look at the cable lift system.  make sure there is nothing binding or resisting anywhere - that there are no pinched cables.  If everything is moving OK - smoothly, etc.  then you might want to adjust the cables from underneath.  something may have caused them to loosen or they may just have always been off.    If they are not off much, you can usually adjust them by simply shortening or lengthening them by turning a nut on the eye bolt that attaches the cable to the center harness that in turn, attaches the main cable.  A general rule of thumb is that 1" of movement on the eye bolt is equal to 2" of roof height, so you shouldn't have to adjust much to get a good fit for your door.

you may find the following links helpful in adjusting your cables:

hope that helps!

welcome to the world of 'tweaking' and 'modding' your camper  :!  you may find that it's almost as fun to work on your camper as it is to actually camp in it!  :#

LOL!
