Jayco lift system

I am getting ready to purchase an 03' jayco 12fso. Can anyone tell me how common Jayco lift problems occur and why they seem to occur so much. Maybe I should look at another company, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a 2004 Jayco Qwest 12A. It probably has the same lift system as yours. I haven't had any problems with the lift system so for. I don't know if it is transferrable, but mine came with a lifetime warranty on the floor, roof and lift system. I bought mine new so I still have all that. You may want to check to see if it is transferrable and if it is go for it. We've had Jaycos in our family dating back to my parents first pup in 1982. Haven't seen any major issues with them. They still have a 1987 TT and our 04 pup. I will be with Jayco if and when we move up to a TT and a long time after that.

I have a 2002 12 FSO and have had no problems with the lift system. We love the trailer.

I have a 1998 Jayco Eagel 12.  No problems with the lift system.  We love the camper.
