Memorial Weekend at the Ritz of RV Parks (5/25-5/28)

Thanks everyone for the great time we had Saturday night and for the marvelous food. It was so good!!!!!!!! We had a lot of fun and congratulations to Dee for being the big winner in poker. She was focused and determined to bring home the bacon. Karen and Jeanne were also big winners too. We miss you guys and look forward to seeing everyone at the Flower Festival Rally.

We had a fantastic time with our fellow campers and visitors. No rain for once but we did have some rowdy neighbors.  We made some fun crafts--sand candles, wind socks and jewelry and the kids enjoyed the movie on the beach "A Night At the Museum".   The potlucks were yummy and as usual, I ate waaaay too much food and the challenge is to get back to eating like a normal person.  
 
Dave, I'm glad that we were able to get you started with your b'day celebration Saturday night.  It was great having you guys come to visit at the Dunes.
 
We are looking forward to the next trip at Flying Flags.  Dee, we will bring your pink striped towel and Lori, we'll return your platter (minus the lemon bars)!

it's not a SCCamers campout if you don't leave something behind..last trip we had something of Greg's..not sure where Kara's jacket is..

You know it's funny, I had forgotten you all were going to Newport Dunes.  Sunday afternoon we decided to go Kayaking and launched from the Newport Aquatic Center.  Jason and I were going for a ride and in the process of poking around we saw the beach for Newport dunes with all the big climb-on water toys.  We headed in for a closer look.

I probably saw some of the group at the beach but didn't recognize you.
