Who has camped at St. Joseph State Park in Florida

I would be real interested to hear anyones experiences camping at St. Joseph State Park in Florida. My wife and I have reservations there this summer and have been told that it is beautiful and a wonderful park. I have also heard that the flies and knats can be murder at times. If so how did you handle it. I also heard that there are no stores near by to stock up on food and other supplies. Where did you shop? Let me know your thoughts like and dislikes and any advice you can give us.
