Hi,
did some searching but not quite finding the answer to my problem.  The sink drain is on the bottom of the trailer and I was trying to find economical way to collect it.
Since the drain is on the bottom, there is not much room for a tote or bucket.  I think there is only about 17 or 18 inches between the ground and drain.
Just looking for ideas that people have used to fit this need.
Dont want to spend lot of cash on rolling tank.  Got one of those 5 gallon blue jugs from WallyWorld but it is too big to go under.

Thank you

This is only an example.  You can find these cheaper at Academy Sports or maybe even Walmart.  This would work great because you could roll it completely underneath your camper and it will be out of the way.  For those of you who have a gray water connection on the side of the camper you can put the tank underneath the camper and run the hose to it from the side.

We have the same problem with our Dutchmen. We still use the Aquatainer from wal mart. We don't seem to be on the backside of the camper that much so it really doesn't bother us.

I can't see spending big bucks on a rolling grey/black water container either. We camp for 2 or 3 days generally and on one occasion we have had to dump the blue Aqua tank before time to go. Hope you find something that will work for you and when and if you do please let us know what it is!!!

In good weather I do dishes outside, don't run a lot of water in the inside sink. I'm going to use a 300oz soap jug for overnites or good weather, I know it will hold at least a day's water.

Not sure I'm following where your saying the sink gray water discharges from the camper.

In my case, a Starcraft, the sink gray water has an outlet on the side of the camper, near the bottom. What I did is pick up one of those 90 degree RV (brass) gray water outlet attachments (Wal-Mart), screwed it into the camper outlet and attached a short piece of garden hose to the other end of the brass outlet. Have room for a 5/gal plastic pail (maybe 13" high) and have two lids for the pail ~ one lid just has a hole in it and the other lid a connector for the short connecting hose in case the C/G wants an enclosed gray water container. The short piece of garden hose came from something I had around the house and then all the hardware attachemnts came from Wal-Mart. The 5/gal plastic pail is actually colored gray, so the color fits! Around these parts 5/gal pails are cheap and with all the construction going on, there's plently of lids to be had for nothing. Bottom line is the 5/gal pail is adequate for doing a couple of dish washings, if need be. But the vast majority of times I wash dishes outside at the picnic table so the "gray water" pail is never used. One Corps of Engineer C/G that I visit ha strict rules about gray water and having an enclosed gray water tank (my enclosed 5/gal pail passes their inspection!) and wants you to tote the gray water over to their dump station. But they also provide a covered,  screened-in dish washing station. Beautiful (and just the right height) doulble stainless steel sinks with running hot water ~ everything you'd ever want to make camp dishing washing easy. I carry the dirty dishes over to the washing area in another (nice) 5/gal pail, wash then and the pail, then tote the clean dishes back to the camper in the clean (white) 5/gal pail. Much, much easier than trying to carry a nearly full bucket of gary water over to the dump station!

I doubt if I have $5.00 invested in my gray water "tank" ... and, as I'm fond of saying, perfectly O.K. for the girls I go with!
