Canoe Hauling

Is it safe to put your canoe ontop of your Popup camper while traveling. I have a fibreglass 15 foot canoe, and would like to strap it to the top of the camper while travelling.

I know when I bought my Avalon my dealer "offered" to put an attachment that would secure a canoe.  I have not towed with one myself - not a big fan of canoeing, but I do have two bikes and a lugguage rack up there and it tows just fine.

... keep it down to under 150 lbs on the roof, including awning weight,  and you should be fine.
