This may be rare

As I write this I am thrilled to say that just 15 minutes from my house to the southeast Cabelas is building one of their mega stores, and 15 minutes from my house to the northwest Bass Pro Shop is building one of their mega stores. Is there anywhere else in the country that these two stores are in such close proximity to each other? As I said I am thrilled, I have ordered lots of stuff from these two stores.

Those of us unfortunate to live in the Arizona desert during the summer have a BassPro Shops on the east side of Phoenix and a Cabelas on the west, (wrong), side.  Driving from the east side to the west side takes too long for any of us to even attempt.   I prefer to go to Las Vegas for a Bass Pro and Lehi, Utah for a Cabelas.  Vegas is always fun and while in Utah, go to SLC and hear the Choir sing.     Campgrounds are near both.

Having both stores that close could be hazardous to your bank account!  I live in the Phoenix area myself, and although BPS is only a few minutes away from me, Cabelas is about 50 miles away on the other side of town. Haven't been over there yet, but I have been to Cabelas' "Mother Ship" in Sidney, Nebraska and it was quite nice.

My hubby would be in HOG HEAVEN if we had both of those stores that close! :-()

We have both stores about 45 minutes away.  The Cabela's is brand new, I haven't been there yet.  I was at the Bass Pro Shop once.  Next time I go, I'm not taking the DDs, as all I kept hearing is, this place is boring, when are we going to leave.  So, I didn't really spend very much time there.

I will be in hog heaven soon!!! A Bass Pro Shop opened up here last Febuary and a Cabelas will open in Oct/Nov. The Bass Pro Shop is 15 mins from my house and the Cabelas is 25 mins away!!! My wife has not been amused....:-()
