We're new here...have been lurking for about a month.  We bought an immaculate 1997 Coleman Westlake in June.  It was a bit too large for us with two kings and didn't have a/c...that's almost a must here in AZ.  All this to say that we sold our Coleman and just bought a 1999 Rockwood Freedom 1980 model with a queen and a full bed as well as a/c.  We can't wait to take it out.  Bit of a mildew smell from the mattresses and am wondering if anyone has a short-term solution until we can find a place to cut new foam for us.  Anyone?  We can't wait to take it out for our maiden voyage.  Our pop-up is otherwise in very good condition.  Time to seek higher ground and go camping.  Temps are in the low 100s at desert level.

I would take out the foam mattresses and use air mattresses until you get new foam.

Thanks for the tip...we're pulling the foam mattresses out tomorrow.  I read in another forum about someone actually trying to clean the foam and dry the mattresses in the sun but think we'll opt for new ones.  Our maiden voyage will be in our backyard this weekend! We have ample storage that is gated on the side of our house and can push it all the way into the yard.
