More than likely not. I have the Honda EU2000i and I have a Carrier 13,500BTU AC unit. The Honda will barely run the AC and I can't run anything else with it. On occasion, it will kick out when the AC cycles.

I would recommend getting 2 of the Honda and run them in tandem when you need the AC. They will give you 4000w  and you will even be able to run other items at the same time.

A Honda 2000i will run 40-50% of the 13.5K BTU A/C units. It probably won't run a 15K BTU one. You might consider a Yamaha 2400 unit if you only want to haul one generator.

The Yamaha will be the one that I'll look at also when I'm in the market.  That little extra power is enough to ensure you can run that AC.  Now if Honda boosts their generator to handle that extra power required when the compressor kicks on, then I'd have a decision to make.
