Lake Casitas - 8/1-8/3

I know this is late notice but we AREN'T doing potlucks this time.   Also, don't forget to pre-order your waterpark tickets.  They sell out quickly.  If you can, purchase when you arrive on Fri for Sat.

Lake Casitas was wonderful and would have been perfect if it weren't for the yellow jackets. They were bad on Friday and poor Sarah got stung yet again but Saturday wasn't so bad. We had to eat inside the trailers so we couldn't enjoy our favorite part of camping. The waterpark was great and the yellow jackets didn't bother us much there because they were concentrating on the trash cans.
 
Our sites were great. Fox 1-7 were perfect for our group of friends and safer for the kids to play and not have to worry about getting run over. These sites are located in a cul-de-sac so it felt more secluded.
 
STUE- it was nice seeing/talking to you again and I felt bad that you were so far from our group. Hope to see you again at a rally.

Kim when are you planning the next one?  We all had a great time....loved our site.  I would like the same site it was a big grass area and a view of the lake.  We all got home safely at 2:30 am on Monday.  Leaving a little earlier gave me time to unload and start the laundry mountain.  We all enjoyed this trip even with the yellowjackets.  Dave got stung on the hand putting things away.  But hes not as sweet as Sarah.

Oooh, we've been wanting to go to Lake Casitas for years!!  Please let us know if you are able to get a rally going!!
