We are camping at Gettysburg later this month, staying at Roundtop Campground. Anybody been there before? Any suggestions (beside the obvious Civil War sites) on activities? My sons going are 18, 16, and 15. Any input would be appreciated.

You will be near the National Fire Acad. A visit to the Fallen Firefighters Mem. is inspirering. There is a great Vol Fire Co in Emittsberg. They will be glad to show off the Equipment and sell you a Tee Shirt. If you have not toured the Battle Field I highly reccomend the CD Auto tour. The NFA buildings were once a Sisters Of Charity Convent. There is an interesting Cem. on the grounds. The NFA is 12 miles from the Battle Field

If you are into ghosts or the paranormal, Gettysburg is claimed to be the most haunted community in the world.

There are reports of the same Civil War field hospital scene being encountered by a number of different people at different times.
