Dockweiler RV Park, March 1st weekend

Here's another SELF SERVICE rally at Dockweiler RV Park:

  Although, it's basically a parking lot with full hookups, it is on the beach, with a bike path you can ride for miles in either direction.  It's also very reasonably priced.  The max you pay in winter for the front row is $28.00.  And yes, Dee, you can have a fire (byofp).
 
  This rally is scheduled for 2/29, 3/1-2.  However, you may have to wait to reserve Fri 2/29.  They have been renovating the park and although the website states they will not take reservations thru February, the reversation agent told me there wouldn't be a problem getting in on Friday, since they fully expect the renovations to be completed soon.

Kristi and I stayed there for 4 days once. We liked it alot. You will be getting posts about how the planes make noise, and there is a reclaimation place across the street, etc, etc. We still liked it. The only planes that made enough noise to even notice was the 747 jets, so it's not that big of a deal.
 
 
We would love to join you but we will have our trailer in for warranty service. I hope this is a good enough reason.

Maybe we'll come by on Saturday afternoon  :sombraro: , as long is there is an on-shore breeze. When there is an off-shore breeze, I just can't take the smell of the sewage treatment plant. :eyecrazy:

well not going to happen for us. We are going to the Wild animal park with friends, we were suppose to go last Saturday but the rain changed that plan

Hey!  We might go this weekend (Wild Animal Park)!  Not sure yet, depends on Brandon's schedule.   We might wait for Spring Break, too.  But, if we do go...we'll call ya!

Looks like this rally is a no go after all....the park has been undergoing renovations and the rain has delayed everything.  Since the park is not reopening until Saturday we cancelled because we don't want to camp just for one night.

Point Mugu is just 35 miles up the coast from there. There are still sites available.
