Do you keep the linens on your bed?

Don't the linens get dirty when you guys push the bed in and the  tent over the bed is folded in?

We leave the sheets and a comforter on the bunk ends, but remove pillows. Of course, we remove and wash after long trips (over 3 days) or after a couple of weekends. We do remove the bedding from the "make-shift" couch bed and the dinette bed though, as we do not always use those.

The linens are placed on the bed at home when the PU is dry and clean, so we haven't had any problem.  For weekend trips, when breaking camp it doesn't matter if they are soiled because they are lanundered between trips anyway. It might be a concern if we had to break camp to move to a new site during an extended trip, but come to think about it, we haven't had any issues with getting the matress wet or dirty either.

Wow, I gues I should start leaving my sheets on the bed.  I take everything off the bed at the end of trip put it in the laundry bag and after washed at home, then they go into a storage container until the next camping trip.  Where I make the bed after popping up... Fresh sheets make the best sleeping.

I leave form fitting sheets over the matresses at all times. Even if using sleeping bags in cooler months. I do change them (always spares aboard), wash the used ones, and the PU is closed up with fresh sheets. Keep the pillows, pillow cases, extra linen and the sleeping bags in the compartment aft that's just for bedding.

My little Starcraft is ready ... right now! ... for an outing. There's clean bedding, towels and such; some (sealed)  bottled water and enough rations to last at least two or three days and nights out, with out ever stopping at a grocery store!

We open up the camper at home to air it out and clean it.  While it is open we wash the sheets and remake the beds before we put it away.  We keep it under cover so it doesn't get any rain on it.  We have never had problems with mold or mildew.

After each trip we wash the linens and put them back on for the next time. Just one way to keep the mattress covers looking new and clean.
