This came to me from a retired firefighters group that I belong to [something like this group, but, different]. IMHO, real or not, it's a great picture.

Enjoy God at work at the North Pole.

This is the sunset at the North Pole with the moon at its closest point.

You also see the sun below the moon. An amazing photo and not one easily duplicated.

You may want to pass it on to others.

The Chinese have a saying that goes something like this: "When someone shares with you something of value, you have an obligation to share it with others!"

It's a fake.  I've seen it on SNOPES, but can't find it right now.

In any case, from anywhere on Earth, the sun and moon are always almost exactly the same size in the sky.  Most of the time, the moon is slightly larger, but just barely - you would need some precision instruments to tell the difference.

There also aren't any mountains within sight of the north pole.

If the earth were out near Neptune, the ratios might be as shown here, but then there wouldn't be any water at something like -250

I don't think that it would be possible to see the Sun's reflection on the Moon's surface with the Sun behind the Moon also.
