It is normal to have condensation dripping from the A/C unit on the inside of the camper? I took the shroud off the A/C unit and tightened up the mounting bolts thinking it might be running in from outside and it is still doing it?

I don't have AC in my Pup but I'll take a shot at it. I'm sure others have had a similar problem and will respond as well...

All AC units collect moisture as it is naturally removed from the air through the cooling process. There's typically a simple drainage system to dump this water to the exterior. The system is so simple, it can easily become clogged by dirt and debris and soon the water is going where it should not go. Since 2000, your AC has been sucking in dirty, dusty air and this is the dirt and debris I'm talking about. I would try to see where the water should go and look for blockage, cleaning everything along the way.

In a home AC unit, if you don't change your filter regularly, the A-coil becomes dirty and all kinds of bad things happen. Do the Pup AC units have any kind of filter system or maintenance that is recommended to keep them clean? Even the smaller wall units in a home typically have filters that must be cleaned.

Good luck and keep us posted.

My first thought was that you need to tighten your mounting bolts, but you did that.  What brand of AC do you have?  When it is very humid my Carrier Air V will occasionally drip.  Can you tell where the moisture is coming from?  On the Carrier there is a metal plate that will produce condensation because it isn't insulated. :)

Mine had some condensation when I ran it the one time this summer, looked like it was forming on the underside of the vents.I just figured it was natural, cold suface + humid air = liquid water.

Take off inside cover -look in to fan area and see if coils are dirty, the fan  blows water thru coils ,when cloged drips into camper. clean off with toothbrush or small softer type brush.
