We are looking for more suggestions for nice places to camp, near quaint small towns...

We have already been to the big ones like Peddler's Village in Lahaska PA, Entire Lancaster Area, New Hope PA, The Jersey Shore towns and boardwalks...

Any other cool places like that to visit?  We are trying to learn about more places that have nice little main streets, shopping, etc.  We like to get out and explore during the day...Strolling, Shopping, nothing too extravagant.  Places like we have already mentioned, and if you have a campground suggestion for the area that would be great too.   Just looking for some cool towns to push the stroller around and see the sights.

We live in the S. Jersey area so don't wanna go too far away 2-3 hours tops.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Frederick, Maryland may be a bit further than you wanted, but you could spend days just wandering all the cool boutiques and shops in their old town section, not to mention hours of looking at the painted bridge!

Downtown Gettysburg, Pa. is a great place to walk and explore.
Thurmont, Md. has some great places to visit and the Cozy Inn is worth a visit to eat.
Downtown Hagerstown, Md. has a beautiful city park with a Art Museum, a railroad museum, historic Hager house, etc. Antietam Battlefield is just down the road.
Harpers Ferry, WV. is a great place to visit and tour the historic town.
There are campgrounds around all these areas.
These are just a few. I'm sure there will be many more mentioned.

A bit further than you're saying you want to go, but you might consider Corning, NY for a trip at some point in time.  Corning Museum of Glass is a top tourist attraction in the NYS, and would also include the Rockwell Museum and Benjamin Patterson Inn.  Market St. is a great place to walk and shop, there's a wonderful pedestrian bridge connecting Market St. with CMOG.  The South Hill area is on the National Register of Historic Places and makes for nice walking through the streets viewing the homes that are there.

Watkins Glen is nearby and might make a nice side trip, although it would be difficult to take a stroller up the gorge.  It is a quaint town, though, on Seneca Lake, one of the largest Finger Lakes.  A trip with Captain Bill's Lake Rides would be a highlight here, not to mention the wineries in the area.

North East, MD is a neat little town. Stay at Elk Neck SP.  If you're into Antiques - Havre de Grace.
