Did a quick overnight trip with one of my sons to spend some one on one time. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

The weather was beautiful, 91 during the day and perfect at night. Heard some coyotes howling pretty close to us as we sat out after dinner admiring the moon coming up over the mountain. I attempted to take a few pictures but the moon was so bright it was tough to get a good shot. We had breakfast as the sun came up this morning over the mountain. All in all it was a great trip.

Great Pics Gary, thanks for sharing. :D
Looks like the PUP is treating you well.
I love the Superstition Mountains, did a lot of wheeling in my younger days in that area. (before it was bad for the environment) Never did find the Gold..:sombraro:
There are some harry trails leading off of the Apache Trail that will take you down to the edge of the  river between Canyon and Apache Lake.
Enjoy the beautifull weather down there.

Love the desert pics.  I miss a real desert with cactus.  32 years living in the Az desert, and then moving to the Mojave desert is two different worlds. Mojave desert = Joshua trees and scrub brush.   I almost miss being stuck with a "Jumping Cactus"
