Glad to hear you guys had a good time and we are sorry we missed this rally. However, we are looking forward to MLK weekend. Unfortunately the ScCampers rain curse followed us to San Francisco. It was pouring when we got there on Saturday! At least it was a beautiful day on Sunday, the wedding day. The bride wore 5 different dresses throughout the course of the day--it was amazing. She wore traditional Vietnamese clothing for the tea ceremony, a Vera Wang dress at the wedding and first part of the reception, a dancing dress, a Vietnamese wedding outfit, and a cake cutting dress. This was my 10 year old daughter's first time as a wedding guest...I told her not to take notes...yikes!

Pimp daddy and I had a great weekend...it was so relaxing  even with the rain...we were able to watch the Chargers win...Dave's new name is Pimp Daddy cause he took all the money from the poker players that played a new game called pimp poker...I didn't catch this game but Dave came in with a big smile on his face that night.  Sorry to see Karen in so much pain from her teeth and sorry to hear that Dawne was ill...I am going to the doctor because I can hardly walk today...had to wear my slippers to work...My foot is so swollen..and very red..

Thank you Dee for a wonderful weekend...good food and lots of great fun and coversation.....I felt guilty driving home only 20 min.....it was wonderful....

Sue, I'm glad pimp daddy won at poker. Maybe next time we can take him down. Until then - he's the poker champion of the rally!!!! Here's to "Pimp Daddy"!!!!

Sue, let us know how your doctor's appt goes.  I hope your foot is going to be ok.  I went to the dentist right after we got home and found out I have a sinus infection...I am just now begining to feel a bit better after a lot of antibiotics.  Sorry to be a stick in the mud for poker...it just wasn't a good idea to sit in the cold rain when i was sick, but clearly, it's not just the "girls" that taking the money away from Griffsdad...   ;)
We had a really good time, just as we always do.

Went to work and left because I hurt went to urgent care on Tues.  They said besides lots of buising there was no break...but I had a bad infection..so they gave me antibiotics interveniously...when I started getting hives so the pumped me full of bendryl and watched me for a while...had to call Dave to drive me home I was so sleepy...Went the next day back to check on foot another bag of antibiotics..this time some other kind and I didn't break out....had to be off foot as much as possible..couldn't work for three days...but I am back at work. today.  I am trying to still keep foot elevated as much as possible..no shoe just wearing sock...it is getting better but it is slow...I am now taking oral antibotics..I am thinking I might have picked up infection in Jacuzzi at the park..

Got to watchout for those sccampers ;)  My wife is allergic to a lot of antibiotics, you two can compare rashes....

Hi Sue: Getting an infection from the jacuzzi is GROSS. Dr OZ on Oprah said that you can catch MANY things from public jacuzzi's. After hearing that, I'm not going in one again.
 
When we went to Pismo Beach with the group, we had our Santa Fe which didn't have a shower.  I got the WORST case of Atheletes Foot from their public shower that I swore that my next trailer would have a shower.   That was when we got our Niagara.
 
I'm glad your infection is getting better and that you're back to work.
 
I'm glad to hear that everyone had a GREAT time this trip and Sue, don't feel bad about traveling only 20 min home. All this year, you've done ALOT of driving to be able to be with the group.

Lovely.  The kids were all in there!  What do we need to look for?

just an FYI on the jacuzzi..Campland drains and refills the jacuzzi after each guest in the supersite. Sounds like Sue had what Bran & Kristi's friend had with his foot...he waited so long to go to the Dr. he almost lost it.

Yes, Bran said he watched them clean it everyday...and they threw in lots of chemicals.  He told me not to worry about....and, they seem fine.

now that I'm somewhat recouperated..Just wanted to say what a great weekend it was...

The potlucks were yummy and laid back..not so much the feeding frenzy the bigger rally potlucks seem to be.

I tell ya.even tho Dan & I argue most the time packing up I sure miss him picking up all the stuff outside.  :eyecrazy:

I sure enjoyed it when Pimp daddy Dave spanked Griffsdad in poker..can't wait to play again...I lost $.0.10 the whole night so I was happy.

Sue, so glad to hear you're on the mends!  It's a good thing you saw the Dr., so that infection didn't get any worse.
