TIGERS WIN!!! TIGERS WIN!!! TIGERS WIN!!!

Okay maybe this isn't a camping topic, but I am pumped that my LSU Tigers are College Football's National Champions.

Oh here's how I can tie it to camping, We watched (2) LSU football games while camping in our pup this season.

EAT EM UP TIGERS EAT EM UP!

jeezy

Forgive me for going off topic with you, but I live in Ohio.

Thank you Tigers.  You just made the next year much easier to live through.

You know, because I might encounter some buckeye fans while camping.   ;)

Well, somethings in this life still can be attributed to "luck" ...

(certainly don't mean to cause any trouble or anything)

You're right Fly, I'll take all the luck that comes my way. We were lucky to get to the championship game, but once there we did what we needed to do to win it.

We met a lot of Ohio State fans before and after the game. Before the game there was lots of friendly razzing back and forth with each other about who would win the game, we shared food, drinks and laughs with some folks we met from Ohio and then after the game they all seemed to take the ASS WHIPPIN in stride. Really good sports.

Hey it's just a football game anyhow.

exactly...

I am just now coming out of my post-game coma.

First, congrats to LSU...at least you aren't Florida, (btw- It was really strange pulling for Michigan in the Capital One Bowl).

Second, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year after losing 6 first round draft picks off of defense.  The fact we even made it to the big game shows how screwy this season was.

Third,  THIS HAS BEEN THE YEAR FROM HELL!!!! -  Start with last year's Buckeyes football loss, then the Buckeyes Basketball Finals loss, then The Cavaliers finals loss, then the Indians being 1 game away from the World Series, then the ^$%^% Browns missing the playoffs by 1 game, and top it off with this year's Buckeyes loss to LSU.  And the Indians are going to lose the Central this year to Detroit.

I HATE BEING A SPORTS FAN FROM CLEVELAND!!!

And ironically, if the Buckeyes beat USC on the road week 3 next year, there will be nothing stopping them (but themselves)  from making it to the big game again next year.  Which ought to just thrill all of the haters out there.  I live in SEC country and I am sick of hearing about how the Big Ten sucks.  I like Tennessee but people forget that they lost to LSU as well.  Ugh...  at least the Cavs suck this year, so I don't have to beleive.

Teams from other conferences should schedule at least one SEC team during their regular season just to see if they're as good as they think they are instead of waiting till the bowl games and then getting a wake up call then.

LOL I guess I did. I used a big spoon to stir that pot didn't I. That's okay, I'm still stuck with the New Orleans Saints.
