These are some of the most common shorthand messages you will see on message boards such as Pop Up Times Message Boards, RV.NET and PopUp Explorer.

 

AAR = Add A Room

AN = ad nauseum

BTW = By The Way (self explanatory)

Bump = Bringing a message back to the top

BBRA = Big Boy Rules Apply

CG = Camp Ground

DH = Dear Husband

DW = Dear Wife

DS = Dear Son

DD = Dear Daughter

FWIW = For What It's Worth (maybe nothing)

HWH = Hot Water Heater

IIRC = If I Remember Correctly (covering your tail if you are wrong)

LOL = laughing out loud

MIL = Mother in law

N2Y = New To You (as in used)

OT = Off topic (not pop-up or camping related)

PU = Pop Up

ROTFLOL = Rolling on the floor, laughing out loud

SIL = Son/Sister in law

SPUT = Stupid Pop Up Trick (i.e. doing something stupid with your pop up)

TOAD = A vehicle towed behind a large RV (taken from the word towed)

TV = Tow Vehicle
