Hello just a quick intro, we are new to popups, but not camping :tent:  and bought a used '07 Fleetwood Williamsburg that had only been used once.

We got a real good walk around from the dealer and was shown how to put up/down our new toy :-()
We may do a quick overnighter localy to get used to it sometime soon.  AzRon

Congrats on your new purchase!! Your going to have lots of great adventures in your new PU. You could try camping out in camp Driveway, this is a good way to test everything and if something is wrong you can always go back in the house, until you can fix it.  Happy camping........Ed C.

Welcome to our world! You'll have a blast in your pup. Does the Az in your name mean that you are here in Arizona?

Congrats and welcome!

Congratulations on the new PUP...

When we were looking at new trailers, the Williamsburg was on our short list.  It is a nice rig.  We wound up with the Niagara, because that's the one DW liked better.

It's nice you are close. I am taking my daughter camping next Sat to Lost Dutchman SP in Apache Junction. Just a quick overnighter if you want to go. It's a nice place to camp, large spots with a lot of space. There are no hookups but it's nice and quiet except for the coyotes around 8 o'clock and again at 2 AM. Let me know if you want to go. We are also thinking of going to either Roper Lake SP out near Safford (they have hot springs there) or maybe Lake Havasu.

AzRon,
Congrats on your New Williamsburg,:-()   Great floor plan with lots of space.
It's good to see another Arizonan (Zonie) joining the camp fire...
Enjoy your new rig

AZsix I would love to, but i need to replace my battey and flush my watertank as it has had water in it for months :yikes:  sorry.

Please let me know about other trips and i'll see if we can make it ok? AzRon

AzRon, I also would like to welcome you to the world of popups. The advice to try "camp driveway" is well founded. Our first "outing" was to camp driveway and anything that we had to go back into the house to get was added to our list of items to take. As a matter of fact, the first weekend of the season when we get it out yearly to do the Spring maintenance, we usually do a "Camp Driveway Outing" as kind of a final check before hitting the road for the first time.

That's ok. We have decided on Roper Lake for next month probably going Friday and Saturday 21st and 22nd. Also doing my last one on one overnighter with my youngest at Lost Dutchman the week prior.

Hopefully you will add your name to the rally that Buddybear is trying to get started.

The driveway suggestion is good advice.  Our first camping experience with our PUP on a trip out of state with our daughter and her 3 kids. Not a good combination for finding out what doesn't work properly.  The Propane hose was blocked so we had no heat for three days and it wasn't all that warm.  We had fun anyway, but I wish I'd discovered the problem before we left.
