CajunCamper

No off season for us here in the deep south. As a matter of fact the camping season is really just kicking off for us. No -25 temps for us to deal with down here. Fall and winter camping is fuuuuuunnnnn down here.

We're not as far south as CajunCamper but we typically have good weather most of the year.  Really the only time I don't like camping is in January and February here in Northwest Arkansas.  Our favorite campground at a state park nearby leaves the water on and bath houses open year round.  The bath houses are even heated.

No bugs, no crowds, choice of campsite.  My work schedule rotates on 12 hours shifts and I get weekdays off frequently.  We usually have the campground to ourselves.

Happy Camping

Way too cold up here in the Adirondacks of NYS for camping. There were flurries in the air this morning. The camper and boat are winterized and parked until next season. However, the snowmobile trailer with two snowmobiles on it is pulled out from storage and ready for winter.  :p

The word "Winterize" isn't spoken in Southern California. We're getting ready for our Veteran's Day Weekend trip.

Because in So Cal, the weather is better during the off season, less people out there and easier to get into nicer locations (heading to Carpenteria this weekend)

Down here there really is no "off Season". We camp whenever we can all year. In fact I like winter camping, its cooler and less crowded.
