VIN Problem

I found a number[17 didgit]on the tongue but I can't get Dmv to reconize the vin.Can anyone let me know if the sequence is right for this Dutchman Duck..The beginning of the # is hard to read..47cc10c14r.......Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FWIW, my '98 1006 Duck starts the same way...47cc10D......I think that the letter on mine is a "D" because of the model number(1006D) .......I have 20 numbers/letters on mine, so I think the rest would be a sequence build number.

Thanks..I actually found the selling dealer in GA and the vin is correct.In can not get DMV to actually reconize taht the Vin is correct.Sounds really weird to me.I actually found the original owner as well and he is gonna check to see f he still has the title.I feel like some kind of a detective running down all these leads.lol.thanks for your input it all really helps......Danny

Thought I would let you all know,after finding the original owner believe it or not still had the title hidden in a saftey deposit box.Looks like I will hopefully get the Mighty Duck on the road.Sometimes it pays to keep researching.Thanks all..
