maxxair vent covers

Does one really need one of these covers during rain? If you put your fan on exhaust and open the vent partially, wouldn't the fan keep out the rain?

From our very wet experience, I would say get the vent cover.  We have had them on every camper since that one and we love them.

I have had the Maxxairs on two trailers and they work great..no leaks in a hard rain. My present one is located on the front of the trailer over the bed. When traveling in good weather, I leave the Maxxair open and open a small rear window in the bath...It does an excellent job of keeping the trailer aired out and cooler too, on hot days.....

First thing we did when we got our new camper was to install vent covers.  Wouldn't be without them.
