Summerville, sadly ,has grown up. There are street signs if "1st West  North Street" and the like constitute signage LOL. And there is now a "Town Center" complete with theatre and restaurants. (sigh)

I have to admit.  Summerville didn't smell as bad as the rest of South Carolina.  At least it didn't when I was there, but Charleston.......oooohweeee!  Nasty place!  Smelled bad and was very dirty.  I think Dillon is nicer.

Thant's nothing compared to the one thay are talking about putting on the intersection of Berlin G and 78 (or so it sounded...).  That one will be just like the "Towne Centre" in Mt. Pleasant... or so the paper said a couple of weeks ago...  Would be nice to see the heritage square revitalized, though...

As for Charleston, I've always thougt it was a pretty city...  The one thing I really love about Summerville is the lack of bugs!  We spent the weekend at Mt. Pleasant KOA, again.  It is so pretty there, but there are tons of bugs.  Learned our lesson the first time to get the door in place immediately....  Did that right away this time and still had a bunch of little flying things inside... Luckily they weren't the biting kind!  Just the light loving kind...  LOL...
