Hi all,
I lost the cap off my potty drain tube and can't find a local replacement.
Does anyone have any tips for a temporary fix-like someone maybe found another cap off something else fitted? We're going away this weekend with the Epic, and need to have the potty ready.

By the way-the plastic vent cover on the roof-is it designed to disintegrate overnight?
seems like I have to replace it regularly as it rots away!

That's a new One  :yikes:
1] quick fix, use plastic wrap and a rubber band
2] I would look into a PVC screw cap. measure the threads O.D. and see if you are lucky.  :D
3] But I am sure if you contacted the manufacture, they would be happy to take your money for a replacement cap.  ;)

Don't have time before leaving friday-just wanted to know if anyone knew of a substitute.

I'm sorry I don't have a solution for you. But I bought a Centry porta potty reacently. When we pulled it out of the box for the first time while camping 2 weeks ago, guess what.....slide valve leaked. took a look at it and noticed a crack on the valve slide ring. some good ole duck tape almost did the trick. At the end of the weekend I took it apart and found the whole darn thing was broke. After returning home and 3 days of trying to talk to a human at Centry I'm awaiting a new slide valve. that was 2 weeks ago. maybe today. supposed to go camping today. different boats but both still sinking. good luck

Your dealer can order a new cap for you.  My kids found a cassette in the dumpster at a campground a few years ago.  It was missing the cap and I ordered a new one.  I don't know of a permanent fix, but a temporary fix made of  heavy plastic and a few strong rubber bands should work.:)
