With the sale of Fleetwood Folding Trailers and the release of the Coleman name for RV use by Fleetwood announced today the stage is set for the return of Coleman campers. The coinincidence of these two events places my bet on the FFT acquisition company already having a licensing agreement pending with Coleman. Strictly speculation, of course, but a deal that lends value to the acquisition and royalties back in Coleman's pockets with proven "Coleman" designs.

Time will tell.

Here's Fleetwood's note on the Coleman name and finalization of the lawsuit(s):

INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS REPORT

Item 8.01 Other Events

Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. has settled all ongoing litigation with The
Coleman Company, Inc., and all pending proceedings have been dismissed.
Fleetwood paid Coleman $10 million in cash and agreed to release Coleman from
the restriction on licensing its name to an RV company. In 2005, Fleetwood
posted an appeal bond, supported by a letter of credit, in the amount of $18
million, and to date has recorded cumulative accounting charges of $19.2
million. The reversal of $9.2 million of the prior charges, as a result of
the settlement, will flow through discontinued operations in the fourth
quarter of fiscal 2008. The cancellation of the letter of credit will release
borrowing capacity of $18 million under the Company's credit facility and will
enhance liquidity by a net $8 million.

Didn't Coleman have a deal with Coachman for awhile till Fleetwood sued, Coleman paid Coachman a few million for the trouble! Coachman currently offers a Coleman stove for outside.

If I were FTCA, I'd can the Fleetwood licensing and go with Coleman.
