I plan to do some camping and taking my Honda eu3000 gen with me.
What is a good way to protect it from rain while running? Would water damage it?

I run mine under the bunk overhang when it's raining. I also put it in the trailer or TV when not running, I can turn it sideways and put it in the front trunk though the side door. I guess a garbage bag would keep it dry when it's not runing........Shredder

We have a Kiport 3500 , and it stayed out in the rain while on our last huting trip and had no problems.

We had our Honda eu 2000s out this weekend. It poured all day.No problems at all.Had the gens about 30 ft from pup under some small scrub trees. Not much in the way of shelter from the elements. The Honda dealer I purchased them from said they are made to be in the weather.Just use common sense and make sure you have good solid contacts with plug and outlet.
