Hi Wayne - Lori's been super busy at work so she will not be coming in until late Thursday. We haven't done any shopping and we've been thinking of just doing very easy meals and just relaxing. We should play poker mano v. mano and we can play just your games if you want.

I know how she feels. I've been going in 40 different directions at once. If we don't leave here tomorrow, I think I'll shoot myself..... :eyecrazy:

This is the 1st time that I've actually had to WORK in many years. It isn't settling very well with me. I don't even have time to post on PUT anymore  :yikes: .

I don't know if you're into fishing but that weekend is like the perfect scenario for surf fishing. Super low tide at sunrise.

 That means that the tide is 1.59 feet below "Mean" (or average) low tide. It just doesn't get any better than that....



If you have a fishing license (or can get one), I'll lend you a surf casting rod..

Ya, ya, ya..........but do you have your license or not?? You may have a hard time casting a short rod far out into the surf. If you want me to bring an extra 12' rod, I will.......if you want to bring your "boat rod" :p , I'll simply have to embarrass you with my 100 yard casts...... :-()

We drove out to Pt Mugu and the attendant wouldn't let us in. He said they were full. :screwy:  We counted 7 empty spaces. What a creep. That was a 1st.

We turned around and drove home (1 hour).......It's OK, we love that drive anyway .

We'll head back tomorrow afternoon. The fish will just have to wait... :rolleyes:

Just got back from a "PERFECT" weekend at Pt Mugu. The weather was spectacular and so was the company. Thanks, Dave, Lori and Griffin for a great weekend. (even if Dave did slaughter us at poker  :p )
