I have an 1988 txl hard sided palamino (this model has the arms on the outside and a latch in all 4 corners)  and on the way home from a camping trip I had one corner that kept coming unlatched. Does anyone know where I can get a new one????
I checked with my local palamino dealer and they are a joke, If it's more than 1 year old they don't want to talk to you.

On my '85 MXL, there was a metal loop in between the clasp, that turned and prevented the latch from coming undone. Does yours have those? They would be on the door side, front and back.
Also, I think you may have some water damage on the roof side wood. Those latches may work themselves loose if you do, or sometimes just age pulls them loose.
If the latch itslef is coming off, try re-threading the holes. Break off a wood match in the holes, then re-thread them with new and longer wood screws. Don't go more than a 1/2 inch longer than the factory screws. Also, put a dab of gorrilla glue on the ends for a good seal.
