Putting it towards pup loan

I still like the idea of buying Newport cigarettes and Old English Malt Liquor and giving it out at the corner store, that way I know it will go to the same place and people where most of the other money the government takes from me is going.

You know until now I really hadn't thought about it.
But now that you mention it I was gonna have to take out a loan to go back
to school in late August guess now I don't have to unless of course I'll need even more to pay the fuel costs associated with getting to class.

We are spending ours on new camping gear.  Since we are starting all over on the camping thing after 4 years.  I can't wait!

This may be hard to believe, but it's true.  Monday I went to the dentist to get an implant put in my gum where I had a tooth pulled a few months ago.  This will be used to mount a false tooth once it heals up.  This cost me $1199.00.  When I arrived home, there was the $1200 rebate in the mail box. Hmmm... I wonder what I'll spend the extra dollar on?

Unfortunately I had to spend mine on a new ac/furnace for the house.  It was on it's last leg and had to be done.  Of course the check didn't cover all of it, just made the difference more bearable.  Sure would have liked to spend it on myself...lol!

Already spent it on the purchase of an older, small, high mileage vehicle ('94 Geo Prizm) for DH to drive for work & "around town" running. Gasoline for the Tundra V8 was eating us alive. Already put 400 miles on the Geo in just over 2 weeks. So far, it gets 25 mpg. Would have loved to spend it camping, oh well.

I did order the new boat that I was considering.

I have had a huge 12 drawer (6 drawers on each side) water bed for about 25 years so I was looking at purchasing a new king size bed and end tables.  I was looking at IKEA, but happend to stop at a small place close to home called "Comfy Matresses".  To make a long story short, they had marked down a floor display king size platform bed with a Beautyrest mattress way down so I purchased it as it was way cheaper than IKEA.  They even threw in a set of sheets and had free delivery.  Can't beat that.   I can't wait until they deliver it on Saturday (7/5/08).

We just got home this weekend from two weeks of camping out west.  Custer, Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.

Our check was waiting in the mailbox when we got back.  It will cover the fuel costs for our trip very nicely.  So I guess we just spent it in about nine different states!  :D

I think my bank ate mine!
