Two trips planned, looking for company

Aug 22 and 23rd I'm pretty sure we are going back to Houston Mesa CG in Payson and then in Oct during the kids fall break we are going to Roper Lake SP near Safford for three nights. We would love to have some company and meet some of you nice folks.

Did you make reservations for the Aug. dates? I will check the soccer schedule and see if we can make it. We are getting ready for the Grand Canyon trip. School starts Aug 11 and soccer practice starts shortly after.

Oct. break we have a beach site in CA reserved for 5 nights. I can't wait. I had to book it 6 months ago.

We will definitely have to do some winter camping this year. We didn't get much time in last year with all the family visiting here.

We haven't reserved for Aug yet. We are attempting to get a neighborhood camping trip planned to Happy Jack. I don't like Happy Jack as much only because there is less to do but would go if our neighbors all go for the social aspect.  A last summer get together. I'm going to press the neighbors for a commitment this weekend. If no one commits then I am going to make reservations at Houston Mesa. I checked yesterday and the spot we want was still available.

CA sounds like fun. What cg are you going to? I'll look forward to hearing about that trip.

Well we have our new nieghbors up the street that have a pop up on board. One woman is trying to pin her husband down for a yes or no and we have another family that may go up with their tent. At this poing it looks like Houston Mesa but I am waiting to make reservations until I hear from the wife that is pinning her husband down.

Can't wait to hear about the Grand Canyon trip!
