We just made reservations for Dogwood (Arrowhead area) July 7-10 (Mon-Thur). There were still a number of sites available in our area if anyone else would like to join us. We are in site 85. Sites 91, 89, 87 and 86 are still available with electric and sites 94, 90, 88, 83 and 84 are available with no electric.

No one interested?  I know it during the week, but I thought all those teachers out there might still be interested...

I was excited at first, but can't go. Kevin has summer camp for the Academic Decathlon Team every Tues & Thurs from June 23-July 28th. I have to figure out Lake Lopez

I don't know that I can do that hill again- something about sitting in the passenger seat and looking down and realizing how far of a drop it would be if we went over. Of course Brian doesn't help by messing with me.:(

I don't think there will be the fog that you had last time, not in July.  SHould be fun.  Maybe let DH drive and you can have a cactus cooler to start off the trip right.

True and I think it the conclusion was reached that Viking is the jinx, so if Viqueen leaves him home we should be good.  :p

I told you, does not matter if I'm there or not, I control the weather.  I will make it rain over your trailer.  Everyone else will be dry as a bone. :D

Wow we had a pretty good time, all things considered.

Kendall got sick day before we left but didn't want to miss camping, so we went even though he wasn't 100%.  He spend the first day with a fever, and we just hug around camp.  No sooner had he got better, then Kurtis got sick, with fever etc.  Never one to let illness stop, us we loaded up and went to Lake Gregory wed for some fun.  Kurtis slept under a tree most of the time.  But we still had fun.  Our site was great in "the bowl" with lots of shade and elec.  Lots of Bugs too!!  They were BAD this time.

Please Note:  when they warn of Bears, they are not making these things up!  About 3:30am thurs morn I hear the dutch oven lid open and hit the ground.  Thats too heavy for a racoon to open.  Nice size black bear spent the next ten minutes or so licking out the leftover Chocolate Lovers Cake (now known as Choc lovers Bear cake), until he knocked the DO over and scared himself out of camp.  Always fun.

We had a great time in what may be our last trip in the old PUP.....
