Quote from: EstoneHi there,

We will be staying at Smithwoods RV from July 26 through the 31st.  We are in space #61.

We won't be around a whole lot either, but it sure will be nice to have someone you know at the campground.  John is looking forward to seeing Kara again also.  He was disappointed when he though he wouldn't get to see her this year camping.

We will be up at Pismo Beach from July 23rd through the 26th, then head up to Santa Cruz.  That will be our main base while we go to San Francisco, Aptos, Santa Cruz, Berkeley and Los Gatos to visit relatives.

Looking forward to seeing you guys.

Very cool you will be right next to us!! Is this the start of a mini rally????

I will be arriving some point & time on Monday the 28th. My sister (total complete opposite of me) will fly into San Jose Tues morning and grab a shuttle.

our plan for Tues is to grocery shop. laundry, and hanging out close to camp. Wed. we will be driving to UC Davis. Thurs Berkeley, & Friday Stanford. we will be going to colleges in the am and sightseeing in the afternoon. I think Wed we may take the kids to the Santa Cruz boardwalk....too far away for me to plan right. now...

...you guys should pop in and say hi while the gang is at Lopez.

can't wait to see you guys

glad you're camping next to us

Quote from: Dee4jThis is north of Santa cruz a bit, I was told to San jose airport...20 miles 45 minutes.

I looked at the KOA and saw the wanted at least $80/night. it seems like a nice campground with lots to do, but we will not be there much, so I thought I'd save the $30/night to do other things...it looks like a nice place and when I made my reservations, they seemed really nice.

Hi, we had family member stay there over the Memorial Day Holiday and they said that the place was great- the staff was very friendly and helpful. On Sunday they provided hambugers & hotdogs for all the campers.  It is privately owned by the same family for over 100 years and you can walk to the Roaring Camp Railroad from the campground.  It has a heated swimming pool and a lot of activities for everyone-  have a great time :-()
