anyone been to William Heise lately

Has anyone been to William Heise since the big Julian fire.  How hard were they hit?  Has it grown back?  Are the facitilities good?

We have camped a Willian Heise many times it is nice and the first section even has Electricity hook ups. it is pretty much grow back and all is good.  In the spring we usually have a self serve rally there.  Popupmama wagon masters this event. Spring time is the best time to go the flowers are blooming and it is beautiful

We've been there since the fire and all was well.  While walking around the campground, we did see remnense of the fire and parts were fenced off for some reason.  Camping at William Heise was as normal as it could be and the town of Julian was flourishing.

OK we go next weekend!  I can't wait!  

Does anyone know if there is a place to fill the tanks with water at the CG?  Do I need to get a water thief adapter or is the a spiggot to fill from?

If you are in the first section all you need is a long hose as I remember water is at the entrance of the first section...That is the only section we have stayed in and I thought it was nice...That was after the fire right before Easter year before last
