I used Eterna-Bond 4 years ago and it works well. Tricky to apply, but not too bad. Main part is cleaning the surface to remove previous caulk and dirt, then apply a few inches at a time. It has not faded, but there are a few spots that have been scratched open by trees and my carelessness because I use the back of the camper for a workbench sometimes.

We are in the process of an involved roof overhaul. The roof was buckling and cracking in several places. The previous owner had applied Eternabond tape in about half a dozen places outside of the serious cracks which developed over the past year (SWFL sun eats plastic alive). When we pulled four off during the repair process, we found water had seeped in three of them.

We tried an ABS repair kit with middling results -- not bad for small cracks, but won't fill big ones. Tried MarineTex with same results. Small cracks were OK, but it did break up in some spots and had a nasty tendancy to retain mold. Finally tried a brew of ABS chips and MEK. It showed promise, but, again, the sun broke it down within a year.

What we are doing now is cutting away some of the worst sections of roof -- generally parts about 2-3 inches wide and up to two feet in length -- and refilling that area with the ABS/MEK mixture. After sanding, those areas will be covered with fiberglass cloth soaked in the ABS/MEK mixture. Hopefully, this will provide flexibilty and strength over the mixture alone. Smaller areas of decay are getting a covering of fiberglass cloth and ABS/MEK mixture, including the hole I put in the front of the roof with a kayak. The next step will be to sand and prime the roof with Kool Seal primer and then paint it with Kool Seal to protect the repairs.
