Has anyone ever been there?  It is close to home for us, and I am very excited to take the boys as the weather is going to be fall-like.  Such great camping weather:)  It will just be for two nights.

If it is, then no we have not sorry.

Been there a few times. Campsites are on the small side, but most (if not all) are wooded. Try the frisbee golf course and the permenent orienteering course. The trails are easy to navigate and we enjoy them when we are there. Have fun!

I am guessing you are talking about French Creek SP in PA.  I have camped there several times and have plans on going back.  It is about a 3 hour trip for me.  I like the park.  They have some great tent sites that are a nice distance from the road.  Many of the paved parking pads are lumpy.  At least one of the bath houses has been redone.  It is the one in the pet loop.  I don't know about the other bathhouses.  Are there any specific questions you have and when are you going?

Kristenamber

We actually reserved a site in the pet loop because of our beloved, (sacrasticly said) Tigger:)  We were suppossed to go last weekend and the weather turned terrible, and I rescheduled for this weekend and now the weather report looks terrible again!  With three kids and being alone, I can't hole them up in the camper for two days.  They are just 6.3. and 1, so I'd rather be home!
We actually live just 20 minutes away, so I will try to reschedule for next weekend!  Blah!

I hope you can get your trip in.  If you are interested in camping with a group, COTOC has its fall rally at Locust Lake state park the weekend of September 26th.  Check out the COTOC forum in the camping clubs section of this website.

I will check it out!

Hope to see you at the rally.:)
