The weather here in South La (Thats the state not the city  ;) ) has been nice and fall like the past few days. It made me remember a poem I wrote back in 1999 when I was teaching. I thought I would post it here to share.

St. Tammany September

There is a question in a cool September breeze.
Is it a promise or is it a tease?
For you see down here in this latitude,
It's hard to develop an autumn attitude.
For sure as you welcome those cool fall days,
You

We're having fall weather here in AZ too. It's supposed to get down to 95 by Sunday!  :S

JAL&JKL

The cooler nights & early AM's have definitely tempted us. Uncovered the Hybrid TT & planning to spend a couple of nights this week at Blakely Historical SP, just north of Spanish Fort, AL. Will enjoy the annual Bluegrass Music Festival there on Sat. Went just for the day last year & really enjoyed it. A nice family atmosphere with music, food, big oak shade trees.

JAL&JKL

Weather was perfect. Only time we used the a/c was to pack up for return. Music was very enjoyable, atmosphere pleasant & relaxing. Close to 1,000 people attend the festival. Trip was just long enough to make me REALLY want to go camping at least for a week.
